The product is approved for use in the U.S. by the FDA for the cosmetic treatment of facial wrinkles and creases.

Frequently asked questions

1. Does it hurt?

A topical numbing agent will be placed over the area of injection and will be allowed to sit for 15-20 minutes. The filler is mixed with lidocaine so while the initial injection is slightly uncomfortable, it does not hurt as it goes into your skin.

2. Where can filler be used?

Dr. Edwards only uses filler in the nasolabial folds, marionette lines and for the lips.

3. How long does it last?

On average, 6-12 months

4. How many syringes will I need?

Dr. Edwards will determine that after an in person assessment of your facial features. Typically for the nasolabial folds or lips, ~1 syringe is needed.

5. Am I a candidate for Filler?

You should not have Dermal Filler if you are allergic to any component of Versa, breastfeeding, pregnant, allergic to egg or albumin, have history of hypersensitivity/allergic reactions, active facial infection or history of keloiding. If you are taking an NSAID or blood thinner, you could potentially bleed more during the procedure.
